Product Details:

A butterfly valve uses a rotating disc inside the pipe to start, stop, or regulate flow. The disc rotates 90° (quarter-turn) to open or close.

A pneumatic butterfly valve uses compressed air (pneumatic actuator) to automate the valve operation, making it fast and reliable without manual intervention.

How It Works

• The pneumatic actuator (usually single or double acting cylinder) receives compressed air.

• Air pressure moves a piston or diaphragm inside the actuator, which rotates the valve’s disc shaft.

• The disc turns to open (parallel to flow) or close (perpendicular to flow).

• Some pneumatic actuators also allow modulating control (partial opening).
