Operation:

• Direct Acting: In this type of valve, the solenoid directly operates the valve's mechanism (like a plunger or a poppet) without requiring pressure from the fluid to assist in opening or closing the valve. When the solenoid is energized (powered), it creates a magnetic field that moves the plunger or valve element to open or close the valve.

• Normally Closed (NC): In its default state (when the solenoid is de-energized), the valve is closed, preventing fluid flow between the two ports.

• Normally Open (NO): When the solenoid is energized, the valve opens, allowing fluid to flow through the ports.
